Find your fun again

For grown-ups who need a little more yay!

Playdays

Do you remember that first taste of summer?

The days were warm and our fingers would get sticky from popsicle drips.

We’d get swept away by delight and play for hours on end before heading back home, dazzled by some new discovery or simply fulfilled from all the fun.

We want to experience that feeling again. Even in the middle of winter.

It’s time to rediscover play.

It’s been forever since summer was all about play.

We get it. Play has taken a backseat to grown-up stuff like paying bills, being productive and building a life you love.

For the most part, your time and energy is spent tackling the never-ending to-do list and taking care of business (and kids, if you’re doing the parent thing!)

As a result, you’re actually pretty disconnected from what sparks joy, wonder and enthusiasm for you.

That is, other than a vacation to a far off island. But if that’s not in the cards for you (it’s not for us), then what?! Unfortunately, more often than not, planning “summer fun” ends up becoming another task that is exhausting, time consuming and expensive to make happen.

But it doesn’t have to be this way.

We’ve created something special for you so that you don’t miss out on that summer feeling from childhood, present-timed for your grown-up reality.

And, good news, it doesn’t require you to leave your neighbourhood.

And, all you have to do is say yes… or yay!

Welcome to playdays!

Playdays is a three-part series for creatives, solopreneurs, wanderlusters and parents that are longing to feel more fulfilled.

In just 3 sessions, you will:

  • rediscover your sense of wonder and joy

  • tap back into a beginner’s mindset

  • free up your creativity

  • cultivate joyful presence

  • deepen your connection with yourself

  • replenish your energy deep within

… all through light and playful “experiments” that have been thoughtfully designed with utmost care so that you don’t have to do anything but show up.

If you feel stuck at work - and the only solution feels like working more… this is for you.

What to Expect

  • Session 1 - Awe and Wonder

Session 1 is all about tapping into the here and now. Seeing what is right in front of our eyes, in our ears, and tickling our senses. The on-demand session will be complimented with a self-directed guided mindfulness walk.

  • Session 2 - Curiosity and Exploration

Session 2 we’ll dive deeper past what’s right in front of our faces, and into what is the unknown that we want known. Tap into that childlike wonder. The session will be complimented with a self-directed discovery walking meditation.

  • Session 3 - Collection and Connection

Session 3 dedicated to inviting the experiences that have transformed us become more concretely part of us. Learn how to cement and walk away with your learnings. The session will be complimented with a self-directed visualization.

The $97 investment includes access to the three on-demand sessions along with the three recorded guided challenges to enjoy at your leisure

Tapping into fun doesn’t have to be a struggle.

Sparkles, bubbles, yoga practice, cuddles with her little, gamifying tasks that are routine, and almost anything involving maps.

  • Executive Leadership & Career Coach

Rikki has been partnering with senior leaders for years to help them reorient and reestablish their relationship with work and what it means to them. A certified coach without the stuffiness, she brings a decade of design experience to create something special with her clients.

Things that bring out her yay! include:

Puppies, fantasy novels, teen dramas, slow “runs,” and iced coffee in every season.

Tell me more

  • Although we’ve given particular thought to the experience of creatives, solopreneurs, wanderlusters and parents… Playdays is for anyone who’s been feeling the meh, and wanting some of the YEAH of summer of yore.

If you’re on the cusp of burn out, this will be exactly what you need to enjoy the summer, rather than beating yourself up about getting more done in your “free” time.

  • Over the course of the sessions you’ll walk away with some tactics to try on to scratch at your creativity, as well as guided meditations you can return to at any time you need an influx of fun.

  • It’s $97 to play. This gives you access to the three recorded sessions + three guided audio recordings ….and all the fun!

  • There are 6 experiences for you to enjoy through the experience.

Between the recorded sessions and guided meditations, all-in, it’s about three hours of time invested.

That being said, you don’t have to do it all at once.

Take your time, fit it in where it feels good. This isn’t another to-do on your insurmountable to-do list, it’s an invitation to play.
